Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a typical website project take to deliver?
There are several things that affect timelines such as; whether there is an existing site and we are redesigning or it’s a new website and we are designing from scratch. Also, the platform you prefer has an impact, typically Wix is the quickest, then WordPress and lastly Shopify. That said, if the site doesn’t require custom functionality I can typically have sites completed in 1-2 weeks. For sites with unique or substantial functionality, it can take 4-6 weeks or longer.
Do you help with SEO?
Although I don’t specialize in off-site SEO services, such as keyword research, content writing, backlink acquisition, etc… I will make sure your website design and development follow the best practices of SEO. This is typically referred to as “on-site SEO and includes site performance on Mobile and Desktop as well as general design and development best practices. If you’re looking for off-site SEO services, I do work with a few vetted service providers and would be happy to make an introduction.
How do I maintain my website after launch?
Because I specialize in developing sites using CMS systems (WordPress, Wix and Shopify), You’re easily able to manage your day-to-day; such as, Creating pages, adding content, blogs, images, etc… If you would like ongoing support, I am able to provide that through a Maintenance and Support package. This includes, CMS updates, plugin updates, troubleshooting, new functionality, design changes, new page types, and more.
What do your websites include? And what costs extra?
I have website packages that vary in price based on the scope of the project. However, all of my design and build services include on-site SEO optimization and 90-day free maintenance. Not included would be additional functionality, integrations, new designs, added page templates or day-to-day content management. I can help with, or fully manage this but it would be through an ongoing maintenance and support agreement.

I have designed and built over 100 websites in many different sectors and verticals. I have worked with startups and SMB’s to SME’s. The specific industry is not of consideration when I take on new clients. I focus more around whether we can develop a long-lasting and mutually-beneficial relationship. My core clients have all worked with me for 3+ years, with the longest active client being 7 years now.
