NorthForge is a Technology Incubator located in Manitoba, Canada.  They have several programs designed to help startup, technology-based companies navigate the difficult world of going from Idea to Market Fit to Scale.  North Forge works with over 325 startup companies and their founders at every stage of the startup lifecycle.

Challenge

They lacked continuity in the online brand between their programs. They needed to have their in-house team easily manage their website. Two additional portals were required to manage their members-only content and functionality.  Additionally, they required Integrations to Slack, Hubspot and Databases.

Solution

I was able to achieve their goals using WordPress and a theme with considerable customization.  I took a mobile-first approach to design with a heavy focus on navigation and interpage linking to ensure the content is accessible and digestible regardless of the device used.  I used Memberpress to manage member portal roles and functions as well as existing plugins for the Slack, Google Sheets and Hubspot integrations.

Result

A new and revitalized online experience that clearly and consistently engages their target audience, helps users find the programs and content that are relevant to them and built on a scalable stack for future growth.  Their team can now easily manage any aspect of their online presence through their WordPress backend.
